I've never been to The Makeup Show before but I have been to other trade shows. Since this show is coming to Orlando for the first time I figured I would give some helpful tips on how to be prepared!#1 HAVE A BUDGET! - Hello if you love makeup you could run the risk of spending ALLLL of your money on all the cool makeup toys that will be there. Think about what you need and will get the most use of. You don't want to dish out money for things that are just going to collect dust (I'm speaking from personal experience..lol). If you have a budget it can help you from spending your rent money! Check the website and see if your favorite vendors are showcasing and map out the order of which booths you want to hit up first.#2 HAVE A GAME PLAN!- There are a lot of classes and work shops to take to take your artistry to the next level. Make sure you check out the site before hand that way you can ensure that you take all the classes you are interested in. No one wants to miss an opportunity of being educated from celebrity artists currently working in the industry!#3 BRING A FRIEND!- This is an awesome opportunity and event, share the love with a friend! Plus you need someone to take pictures of you for instagram duh!Below I have listed the free seminars and education.Sunday, November 4 Seminar Space A 9:45-10:30 Adding Dimension to Avant Garde: Prosthetics Meet Beauty - Roy Wooley from SyFy’s “Face Off”11:00-11:45 HD Makeup for the Modern Bride- Sindy Perez for Mehron12:15-1:00 Customizing Your Freedom System – Bryan Carmouche for Inglot Cosmetics1:30-2:15 Airbrushed Brides: Creating Flawless Bridal Looks, Nicky Posley for TEMPTU PRO2:45-3:30 Sculpting the Face with Contour & Highlight – Eugenia Weston for Senna CosmeticsSeminar Space B 10:00-10:45 Kit Focus – James Vincent for The Makeup Show11:15-12:00 Timeless Trends for Bridal Beauty- Dominic Briguglio for Stila Cosmetics12:30-1:15 HD for All- Lijha Stewart for Make Up For Ever1:45-2:30 Beauty and The Blog- Hosted By James Vincent – Panelists include Brittany Minor from ClumpsofMascara.com, Courtney Nawara from Phyrra.net and Cristina Foster from Letthemhavepolish.com3:00-3:45 Basic Skin Care Preparation for Successful Makeup Application – Ofra Gaito for Ofra Cosmetics4:15-5:15 Branding Yourself as a Freelance Makeup Aritist- Tia DantzlerMonday, November 5Seminar Space A 9:45-10:30 Tools for Trends – James Vincent For Crown Brush11:00-11:45 Chromatic Mix: Understanding Color Theory- Lijha Stewart for Make Up For Ever12:15-1:00 HD Makeup: Product or Technique? - David Klasfeld for Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics1:30-2:15 Branding a Brick and Mortar Culture Through Social Media – Peter Anthony Wynn for LTAYH.com2:45-3:30 All The Makeup Must- Haves- Maurice Stein for Cinema Secrets at Alcone CompanySeminar Space B 10:00-10:45 The Dynamics of Film – Marietta Carter Narcisse for Beaute 41111:15-12:00 Airbrush Contouring: Going Beyond Foundation, Nicky Posley for TEMPTU PRO12:30-1:15 Makeup Trends – Nadine Chiasson forCosmixSchoolof Makeup Artistry1:45-2:30 Henna and Glitter Body Art- Erika Harrison for Amerikan Body Art3:00-3:45 A Return to Artistry: Makeup in the Hi-Def Era – Scott Hersh for Simply Perfect CosmeticsWith that being said......MEET ME AT THE MAKEUP SHOW!
